How Do I Manage Member Permissions In BrandSignage?

Once a member account has been created, you'll then want to configure permissions. Permissions control various privileges such as the ability to edit text zones, resize images, etc. Each permission has an ON or OFF state, depending on whether that ability has been granted (ON) or restricted (OFF). Keep in mind that any permission you wish to pass along to location admins MUST originate from the member admin level. If you meet the requirements listed above, simply follow the steps below to set permissions for members.

  • Log in to your account as a Corporate admin
  • Click “Permissions” on the left side of the screen under “Member.”  There, you will see a list of all active member accounts and permissions for each member.
  • Allowed permission will have their icons filled in, while blocked permissions will be greyed out. You can also hover your mouse over a permission to see its ON or OFF state. Below is a table of the various permissions and their corresponding meanings
Template Editor Enables the template editor
Edit Text Zone Allows user to edit existing text zones
Drag Resize Zone Allows user to resize zones by dragging the corners
Add New Text Zone Allows user to create new text zones
Edit Image Allows user to edit existing image zones
Add New Image Allows users to add new image zones
Media Library Allows access to the media library
Template Playlist Allows access to the template playlist
Drag Image Allows user to resize image zones by dragging the corners.
  • Simply click the permissions that you wish the member to have.  NOTE: For a location to have a permissions, the member above it must also have that permission.
