How to Convert Videos

You may use any type of free video converter you would like. Hereis a link to a converter that we recommend.
Please note that these instructions are not specific to any video conversion tool, and will need to be adapted for the specific product that you choose to convert your content.

  • Select the source video by adding it to your Video conversion program
  • Choose a compatible codec and container that your source video will be transcoded into using our list of acceptable options on this Knowledge Base article.
  • Set a bit rate that is compatible with your chosen codec and will provide an adequate balance between file size and video quality. We recommend bitrates above 1.5 Mbps.
  • Make sure your output video resolution is set to 720x576 pixels to ensure proper playback on the Ceeno+
  • Start your video conversion tool. This is a very complicated process, and may take a while depending on the speed of your computer, conversion tool and codec of choice.
  • After conversion is finished, you are set to start playing this video on your Ceeno+!
