The recommended file formats for Xhibit device are as follows:

Video: MP4 container with h.264 codec-This is a very common video container with the codec that provides great quality in small file sizes. This will offer best results when played back on Xhibit. A higher quality video (720p, 1080p) will have a higher file size, and as such will take longer to upload to Xhibitsignage.com, and will take longer to download to the Xhibit device. However, using high-resolution or high-bitrate videos will not disrupt playback on your device, so choose a resolution and bitrate that best fits your desired size and quality needs.

Audio: MP3- This is the most common audio file format. Higher bitrates will yield better quality audio, and will not disrupt playback on the Xhibit device. Choose bitrates based on your desired filesize.

Image: JPEG- Recommended max resolution of 1920x1080px, but larger images will be scaled to fit. As usual, higher quality images will have higher file size, but this will not disrupt playback on Xhibit.

Using the above formats will yield the best results working with Xhibitsignage.com and the Xhibit device. However, do not feel the need to convert or change the file formats to meet the recommended settings unless you are having uploading or playback issues with Xhibitsignage.com or the Xhibit device.
