Which ports on my network do I have to open for Ceeno+ to connect to iCatSignage...

Last Updated: Jul 31, 2013 01:12PM EDT

The Mvix Ceeno+ signage system connects to the iCat content management system over the internet. Typically, this connection is established over a regular HTTP/HTTPS protocol, which is the same protocol that a PC or laptop uses to connect with any website.

Some special corporate firewalls may restrict web-connections and file transfer protocols due to security concerns. Some of these networks may require port-access for Ceeno+ / iCat connections.

Traffic will need to be allowed to 173.199.186.19 (www.icatsignage.com)

Additionally, the following outbound ports will need to be opened

WebAccess for Mvix Ceeno+ to connect to www.iCatSignage.com:

--> Port 80  (HTTP)

--> Port 8080  (Alternative HTTP )

--> Port 443 (HTTPS)

As long as the device can connect to iCat over ports 80, 8080, and 443, there are no additional requirements to ensure connectivity.
